Baby massage is wonderful thing to learn and to be able to give your baby. It provides many benefits for parent and child such as:
  • helping to build better communication between parent and baby;
  • helping your baby to develop awareness of their bodies, building confidence and self esteem;
  • helping to relax both you and your baby;
  • soothing babies and helping them to sleep better;
  • aiding digestion and helping to relive colic, wind and constipation.

Baby massage tuition comprises 6 weekly sessions with your baby.  The massage strokes are explained and handouts provided within a supportive environment.  Refreshments available.  Rachel is committed to helping you learn interactive communication with your baby through positive loving touch.

These classes are designed specifically for the pregnant woman anytime from 14 weeks.
Each class incorporates modified yoga postures and gentle stretches, breathing exercises and relaxation.
You do not need any previous experience of yoga to attend the class. The classes will help you to become more comfortable with yourself and your changing body during pregnancy the classes will:
   -  Strengthen the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor,
   -  relieve muscular tensions,
   -  correct postural alignment
prepare for labour and delivery
   -  Deep breathing and relaxation skills will help you to manage your stress, feel more comfortable and think more clearly.

This is an intermediate course focusing on the most commonly practiced techniques of Hatha Yoga;
   -  Asana (postures)
   -  pranayama (breathwork)
   -  Dharana (first stage meditation)
   -  Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation)
The course will enable enable you to learn techniques to increase flexibility, restore balance and to gain greater concentration and peace of mind. The sessiopns will enable you to continue your personal yoga practise within a supported and positive environment.
The practice of yoga should be intrinsically rewarding and contribute to good health and mental balance. You should have some experience of Yoga (any form) and be physically confident to participate fully in this course.
Open to everyone looking to re -energise over a lunch break.  Leave feeling relaxed and prepared for the rest of the day.  Toilets and changing facilities are available.

Gentle Yoga is an introduction to the benefits of learning to relax and energise with Yoga.
It begins with your breath, learning the fundamentals of breath control-learning the power of correct breathing.
If you learn how to control your breath, you can influence how you feel emotionally and physically
Deeper and smoother breathing slows your heartbeat, reduces the flow of adrenalin and increases the flow of endorphins, your body's natural tranquilliser. Yoga means 'union' or balance', it works on the physical body, the mind and the emotions.

Everyone is welcome to join this class we are a friendly group many of whom have been coming for years, they really are an inspiration and have such dedication.  It’s not about how much you do – although most things can be adapted to suit everyone, with use of chairs.  Looking after your bones and staying active are really important Osteoporosis is a major issue for older people, especially women.
